Prof Dr Andreas Kavallaris is the Head of our Gynaecological Oncology department. He specialized in Gynaecological Oncology and advanced minimally invasive surgery at the University of Friedrich-Schiller Jena, Germany and subsequently formed and became the Associate Director of the School of advanced laparoscopy in gynaecological oncological surgery at the University of Schleswig-Holstein, Campus Luebeck, Germany. With experience of thousands of cases, he applies the most innovative and pioneering techniques and minimally invasive operations for Benign and especially malignant neoplasms of the female reproductive system (Endometrium, Cervix, and Ovaries) and breasts, ensuring excellent outcomes, minimization of postoperative pain and complications. Dr Kavallaris undertakes the entire range of gynaecological surgeries with an emphasis on dealing with complex and difficult cases with minimally invasive surgery and – where necessary – open surgery.
