Dr Afroditi Elisseou-Xenofontos joined the Medical Centre in 1998. She graduated from the National University of Athens Medical School and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Makarios Hospital in Nicosia and Alexandra General Hospital in Athens. She specialised in Athens and worked with Professor Kypros Nicolaides in Foetal Medicine at King’s College Hospital, London. Dr Elisseou is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Nicosia Medical School and holds an MA in Bioethics-Medical Ethics from the Open University of Cyprus. Having experienced natural childbirth three times, she strongly advocates for it. She uses state-of-the-art technologies, provides 3D and 4D ultrasounds, and handles high-risk pregnancies. Dr Elisseou uses the innovative MonaLisa Touch® laser for various gynaecological problems including vaginal dryness and urinary incontinence.
